The country’s prime minister, Rishi Sunak, clearly implied on Wednesday that Britain’s recent agreement to train Ukrainian pilots on NATO-standard jets is merely a “first step” towards supplying Ukraine with modern British fighter planes to aid in the fight against invading Russian forces.
