Dave Halls, the assistant director on Alec Baldwin’s film Rust, has previously been the subject of complaints about lax safety procedures, according to reports. Halls, an experienced AD, was the person who handed Baldwin the gun that killed Halyna Hutchins, 42, a cinematographer.
