Maduro Mobilises 6,000 Troops After UK Warship Goes to Guyana | Vantage with Palki Sharma
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has ordered 6,000 troops to begin what he calls defensive exercises in the eastern Caribbean Sea. The mobilisation comes in response to provocations by the “decadent former British Empire.” The UK has sent a patrol boat to Guyana in a show of solidarity. Is Maduro blowing the incident out of proportion to galvanise his supporters? Palki Sharma reports.
