Apple Silicon to replace Intel On The Mac

After years of speculation, Apple has announced that it will begin a two year transition for the Macintosh away from Intel based chips to its own inhouse, custom-built Apple Silicon chips, a move that will unify all of their platforms, mobile and desktop, under the same architecture.
